Softball Recap: Smiths Station Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Smiths Station's offense. They came up short against the Auburn Tigers on Tuesday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Tigers since May 3, 2022.

Smiths Station has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19-1 record this season. As for Auburn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-14.

While Smiths Station had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
