Basketball Recap: Mt. Carmel Christian Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

There's no place like home for Mt. Carmel Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Regents Lions by a score of 38-26 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darbi Hunsberger, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haelyn Morris, who scored ten points and three steals.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6. As for Regents, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-35 loss against Blue Ridge Christian on the 28th. Regents does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
