It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pinson Valley can now relate to. They fell 66-54 to the Paul W. Bryant Stampede on Saturday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Defeat or not, Pinson Valley got some senior leadership from Jamarcus 'Smoke' Thomas and Austin 'Woo' Coner. Thomas dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Coner posted 20 points along with five boards and three steals. Those 21 points gave Thomas a new career-high. Jamison Green was another key player, putting up three points.

Pinson Valley's loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Paul W. Bryant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season.
