Basketball Game Preview: Leonard Lancers vs. Glades Central Raiders

The Leonard Lancers will square off against the Glades Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leonard has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 3.

Leonard is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Leonard took a blow against Dr. Joaquin Garcia, falling 57-17. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 627th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 305th).

Despite their defeat, Leonard saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Bradline Eriscar, who posted eight points, was perhaps the best of all.

Meanwhile, Glades Central came up short against Royal Palm Beach on Thursday and fell 43-31. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leonard's record is now 1-8. As for Glades Central, their record now sits at 2-10.
