Volleyball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Pinecrest Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Cherokee Christian Warriors 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Paladins in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pinecrest Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-4, 25-13.

Pinecrest Academy and Cherokee Christian will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Paladins will face off against rival Horizon Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cherokee Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
