Basketball Recap: Hanson Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Hanson Beavers ended up a good deal behind the Wessington Springs Spartans and lost 63-49. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hanson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Wessington Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanson will take on Chamberlain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wessington Springs, they will square off against Kimball/White Lake at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball/White Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
