Recap: Dalton Catamounts vs. Northwest Whitfield Bruins
The Dalton Catamounts lost to the Northwest Whitfield Bruins back in December of 2023, but the Dalton Catamounts didn't allow the Northwest Whitfield Bruins the same satisfaction on Saturday. Dalton took down Northwest Whitfield 51-36. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dalton.
Dalton was led to victory by Drew Snyder and Kobi Cooper. Snyder scored ten points along with five rebounds, while Cooper scored ten points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Burt, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.
Dalton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season. As for Northwest Whitfield, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dalton will take on Cartersville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cartersville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Northwest Whitfield, Northwest Whitfield and Heritage will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heritage is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
