Waipahu came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Kaiser Cougars onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Marauders have won by just one goal.

Waipahu's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those seven games. As for Kaiser, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2-1.
