Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gar-Field). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Unity Reed Lions a 9-0 shutout on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gar-Field's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Unity Reed, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
