Basketball Game Preview: Tulsa CHEF vs. Mingo Valley Christian Eagles

Tulsa CHEF will face off against the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Tulsa CHEF turned things around against Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool on Saturday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Knights.

Tulsa CHEF's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Stout, who went 8 of 9 on her way to 16 points along with six boards and four steals. Those 16 points gave Stout a new career-high. Kaiya Pennington was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Mingo Valley Christian posted their biggest win since January 20, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy 45-25.

Mingo Valley Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season. As for Tulsa CHEF, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Tulsa CHEF was able to grind out a solid win over Mingo Valley Christian in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, winning 37-29. Will Tulsa CHEF repeat their success, or does Mingo Valley Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
