Troy Earney made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Crescent City is 2-1 when Earney allows one or fewer hits, but 3-13 otherwise. Roosa is becoming a predictor of the Raiders' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-1 (and 0-13 when he doesn't). Damian Fitzgerald was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
