Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Barrington

Barrington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hoffman Estates Hawks by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win two weeks ago.

Barrington never let Hoffman Estates on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22.

Kalyn Brookbank paced Barrington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brookbank got some help from Eve Adler and her 20 assists. Adler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Barrington's victory bumped their record up to 24-12. As for Hoffman Estates, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-22 record.

Coming up, Barrington will head out to square off against Buffalo Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hoffman Estates does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
