It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Natchez ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Provine Rams 62-59. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-48 on January 7th.

Natchez's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daylan Haywood, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 34 points and three steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Haywood has scored at least a third of Natchez's points. Another player making a difference was William Johnson, who went 7 of 15 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
