Ethan Johnson posted a new career-high in runs on Monday. He got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs and one triple.

Even though Johnson couldn't lead Newberg over Sherwood, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't beaten the Bowmen recently, having gone 0-9 since April of 2022.
