Marist has gone 5-0 against Lithonia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Marist War Eagles will square off against the Lithonia Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Marist is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Marist is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Webb, who was ranked fifth in their home state at the time (Marist was ranked 11th). Marist narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Webb 42-39.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lithonia). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Towers 74-27. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Lithonia's win came from a few key players Marist will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jamiah Dale, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 20 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Myiah Cutler, who went 7 for 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight steals and five boards.

Lithonia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Lithonia is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Marist, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Everything came up roses for Marist against Lithonia in their previous matchup back in February of 2016, as the squad secured a 63-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
