Georgia Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Colquitt County Packers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Georgia Christian who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 14-25, 17-15.

Georgia Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Colquitt County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-18.

Coincidentally, Georgia Christian and Colquitt County will both be playing Sherwood Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Generals will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Packers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
