Basketball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

If Armstrong was riding high fresh off their 83-46 takedown of Chrisman on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 72-55 bruising from the Westville Tigers on Friday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Westville, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong is set to square off against their familiar foe Georgetown-Ridge Farm at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Westville will challenge rival Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
