The Leesburg Yellow Jackets are taking a road trip to challenge the Springstead Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are still undefeated (Leesburg has four wins , while Springstead has eight dating back to last season).
On Tuesday, Leesburg didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Lecanto, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win.

Leesburg found their leader in sophomore Morgan Campbell, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The game was Campbell's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Scott, who earned 14 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springstead). They blew past Lecanto 58-29 on Thursday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 23-point advantage.
Springstead's win came from a few key players Leesburg will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ariana Willoughby, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Michelle Ramirez-Hoyos was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Springstead smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Leesburg's record now sits at 4-0. As for Springstead, their record is now 8-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Leesburg has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 34 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Springstead struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything went Leesburg's way against Springstead in their previous meeting back in February, as Leesburg made off with a 65-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
