Soccer Recap: James River Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If James River was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Alleghany on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Waynesboro Little Giants on Friday, falling 4-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as James River were already down 3-0.

James River's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Waynesboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

James River will square off against Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waynesboro, they will challenge Riverheads at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
