Basketball Recap: Allen East Takes a Loss

Allen East lost against Liberty-Benton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Allen East Mustangs and the Liberty-Benton Eagles didn't end well, with the Allen East Mustangs falling 50-34. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Allen East dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Liberty-Benton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Allen East will head out on the road to face off against Crestview at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Crestview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Liberty-Benton, they will welcome Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
