Softball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Keene lost to Goffstown back in June of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blackbirds came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 13-2. The Blackbirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keene's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Goffstown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Keene is set to challenge their familiar foe Portsmouth at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Goffstown will face off against rival Pinkerton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Grizzlies 3.2, the Astros 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
