Lowell headed into their last contest having not scored more than 12 points for three straight, but Burton let them put that streak behind them. Lowell claimed a resounding 62-0 victory over Burton on the road. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Washington fell victim to Lincoln and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were beaten by the Mustangs 54-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
