The Sage Creek Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Clairemont Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sage Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.

While Sage Creek didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-11-5), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Santa Fe Christian 6-2 on Tuesday. Considering Sage Creek have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Santa Fe Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grant Scuba (2), Fynn McConnell (2), Yozgar Martinez, and James Jansen.

Meanwhile, Clairemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Olympian. That's two games in a row now that Clairemont have lost by just one goal.

Sage Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Clairemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-2.

Sage Creek couldn't quite get it done against Clairemont when the teams last played back in January as they fell 2-0. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
