Cumberland Gap has gone 9-0-1 against Claiborne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Cumberland Gap will be strutting in after a victory while Claiborne will be coming in after a loss.

Cumberland Gap will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Thursday, then bounced right back against Cosby on Monday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Eagles. Considering Cumberland Gap's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Claiborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Cosby.

Cumberland Gap's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-11. As for Claiborne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Cumberland Gap took their victory against Claiborne in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 8-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
