Volleyball Recap: Russell County Comes Up Short

Russell County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Adair County Indians, falling 3-0. If the Lakers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-11.

Russell County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Adair County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Russell County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Metcalfe County on the 26th. As for Adair County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Taylor County on the 26th.
