Preview: Lexington Wildcats vs. Dutch Fork Silver Foxes

Winning is just a little bit easier when you nail five more threes than your opponent, a fact Lexington proved on Wednesday. They walked away with a 56-47 win over Aiken. With that victory, Lexington brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Lexington got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Evie Godfrey out in front who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydni Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
In what's become a running theme this season, Dutch Fork gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past River Bluff, posting a 78-31 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Dutch Fork has posted since December 12, 2023.
Lexington's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Dutch Fork, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.
Lexington barely slipped by Dutch Fork in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 39-38. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Dutch Fork's Hillary Offing, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
