Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Refugio). Everything went their way against the Pettus Eagles on Saturday as they made off with a 22-5 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bobcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The win was the third in a row for Refugio, bringing their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.7 runs over those games. As for Pettus, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Refugio wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-4 loss against Skidmore-Tynan on the 1st. As for Pettus, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-3 defeat against Agua Dulce on the 1st.
