Sedro-Woolley fell victim to Squalicum and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Meridian kept a clean sheet against Nooksack Valley on Thursday. They blew past the Pioneers 6-0.

Sedro-Woolley's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3-2. As for Meridian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-3.

Sedro-Woolley might still be hurting after the 4-0 defeat they got from Meridian in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Cubs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
