            With a playoff win on the line, Alta rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   58-47  victory over the Skyline Eagles. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.

  Alia Baldassano continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 10-for-16  en route to 26  points and five  boards. She is becoming a predictor of Alta's success: when she posts  at  least 15 points the team is 7-2 (and 7-8 when she doesn't).  Quincy Kegel was another key player,  putting up 11  points in addition to five  rebounds and five  steals.
 Skyline's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Leelu Bare, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 13 points and nine  boards. The dominant performance also gave  Bare a new career-high in  blocks (four). Another player making a difference was  Mia Johnson, who  posted eight  points along with five  rebounds and three  blocks.
Alta's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 64.3 points over those games. As for Skyline, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record  this season.
 Alta has already played their next game,  a  58-50  defeat against Cedar Valley on the 20th. Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
