Salt Lake Academy kept up with Riverton until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Silverwolves blew past the Griffins 4-1. Riverton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Lincoln Payne and Lincoln Wunderli scored all four of Riverton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverton and bumps their season record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two contests. As for Salt Lake Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Riverton will face off against Herriman at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Herriman will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Riverton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Salt Lake Academy, they will square off against Copper Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
