Volleyball Recap: New Diana's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

New Diana won the last time they faced Union Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

New Diana's got stronger as the match went on, holding Union Grove to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-10.

New Diana was led to victory by Taryn Reece and Kenzie Thompson. Reece had eight digs and three blocks, while Thompson had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Thompson has posted over her last nine games.

New Diana's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15. As for Union Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
