Basketball Preview: Tyler HEAT vs. Dallas Thunder

In what's become a running theme this season, Tyler HEAT gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 73-42 victory over East Texas Homeschool Sports. The victory was familiar territory for Tyler HEAT who now have five in a row.
It was another big night for Elijah Grimes, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jackson Tomlin, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Dallas Thunder, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-62 loss to the Eagles on Sunday. While losing is never fun, Dallas Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 719th in Texas, while the Eagles are ranked 54th in Nebraska).
Tyler HEAT has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season. As for Dallas Thunder, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Tyler HEAT didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, but they still walked away with a 53-49 victory. Will Tyler HEAT repeat their success, or do the have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
