Felix came up big in Monticello's 6-3 victory
While Saturday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Triston Felix. He was dynamite on Saturday, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk).
Felix and Monticello are on the road again on Tuesday to play South Sevier at 3:30 p.m. Felix has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1.9 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering South Sevier has only allowed 3.25 per game this season.
