Putnam City West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-26 loss at the hands of the Grant Generals. One positive for the Patriots, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Putnam City West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Grant, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Putnam City West will take on Ponca City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Putnam City West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Grant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-37 loss against Christian Heritage on the 25th.
