Recap: De La Salle Meteors vs. Resurrection Bandits
The De La Salle Meteors lost against the Resurrection Bandits back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. De La Salle fell 57-49 to Resurrection. De La Salle has not had much luck with Resurrection recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
De La Salle lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaylee Williams, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Kamryn Porter was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
De La Salle has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-19 record this season. As for Resurrection, their win bumped their record up to 18-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. De La Salle will take on Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. De La Salle has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Resurrection, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Niles North at 7:00 p.m. Niles North will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Resurrection is ranked 173rd).
