Murrieta Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Great Oak Wolfpack with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Murrieta Valley was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Murrieta Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery Medvin led the charge by getting nine kills and three aces. Hayden Roth was another key player, getting 11 assists and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Murrieta Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in six consecutive matches.

Murrieta Valley's record is now 19-11. As for Great Oak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Murrieta Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against San Marcos on the 21st. Great Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
