Basketball Recap: Orrick Takes a Loss

If Orrick was riding high fresh off their 80-22 takedown of Breckenridge on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats fell just short of the Wellington-Napoleon Tigers by a score of 35-32 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Among those leading the charge was Brody Best, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds.

Orrick's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wellington-Napoleon, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Orrick had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
