Bastrop waltzed into their game on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Carroll Bulldogs by a score of 68-61. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 65-58 defeat.

Bastrop's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Devin Tyson, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. Those 22 points gave Tyson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Antron Mason II, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Bastrop smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Bastrop pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Carroll, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-16 record.

Bastrop will be playing at home against Sterlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Cooper Nelson and Mason II. As for Carroll, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Union Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
