Volleyball Recap: Mcbee's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

McBee entered their tilt with Midlands STEM Charter on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Mavericks 3-0. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mavericks, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant McBee was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-8.

McBee had a senior duo take command as Emma Goff had seven aces and five digs and Emma Winburn had six aces and two blocks. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Goff.

McBee was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 19 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

McBee's record is now 10-2. As for Midlands STEM Charter, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
