Softball Recap: Gwynn Park Comes Up Short

Gwynn Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-10 loss on Wednesday.

Gwynn Park's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Gwynn Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-18 win against Largo on the 4th. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North has also already played their next matchup (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
