After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trumbull, Bridgeport Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Joseph Cadets 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hilltoppers have posted since April 19, 2024.

Bridgeport Central pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for St. Joseph, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bridgeport Central will take on rival Danbury at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph is set to challenge their familiar foe Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
