Hamilton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fairfax Lions. The Yankees haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hamilton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-9, 25-18.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Fairfax, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hamilton is set to square off against their familiar foe Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fairfax will take on rival Westchester at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
