Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Extends Winning Streak to Three

Thales Academy Apex won the last time they faced Neuse Christian Academy, and Anna Maass did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Thales Academy Apex Titans' way against the Neuse Christian Academy Lions on Monday as the Thales Academy Apex Titans made off with a 61-39 win thanks in part to Maass, who posted 21 points along with eight boards and five steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Thales Academy Apex's points.

Payton Duke was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Neuse Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Lyla Lindstrom and Morgan Little. Lindstrom put up 21 points and eight rebounds, while Little had 14 points in addition to six assists and five boards. That's the most assists Little has posted since back in January of 2024.
