Volleyball Preview: Antwerp Archers vs. Woodlan Warriors        
        
		
             The Antwerp Archers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Woodlan Warriors  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
 Antwerp lost  3-0 to Hilltop on Monday. The Archers have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 The  defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive:  Hilltop scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20,  25-20.
 Despite the  loss, Antwerp saw an underclassman step up:  Emery Jones  had eight  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Jones has posted since back in August.
 Meanwhile, Woodlan didn't have quite enough to beat Daleville on Saturday and fell  2-1.
 In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Woodlan sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 26-24, 20-25,  15-11.
 Despite the  defeat, Woodlan had strong showings from  Makenna Smith, who  had 13  digs and two  aces, and  Alix Jacquay, who  had three  digs and two  aces.
 Antwerp's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Woodlan, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  contest:  Antwerp has really dialed in their serving game this season,  having  averaged 8.5  aces per game. However, it's not like Woodlan struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.8. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
