Basketball Game Preview: Hatley Tigers vs. West Lowndes Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Hatley Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the West Lowndes Panthers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hatley took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 48-42 victory over Tremont. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when West Lowndes challenged Hamilton on Thursday. The Panthers took down the Lions 58-41. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Hatley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for West Lowndes, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hatley was taken down by West Lowndes 63-32 when the teams last played back in December of 2015. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
