            Softball Recap: Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles vs. Hubbertville Lions        
        
		
        
        
            The third road  contest was the charm for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against the Hubbertville Lions by a score of  8-5  on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Lions  on Saturday, they had to take a  3-2  loss.

The team  relied heavily on  Savannah Sims, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. Sims is also crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was  Desirae Perrell, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
 Decatur Heritage Christian Academy  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most four  strikeouts in four consecutive  games  dating back to last season.
Decatur Heritage Christian Academy's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Hubbertville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Decatur Heritage Christian Academy has already played their next match,  a  14-12  loss against Addison on the 22nd. Hubbertville will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vina at 4:00  p.m.  on March 4th.
