Duchesne has gone a perfect 10-0 against Roncalli Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cardinals will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Crimson Pride at 4:30 p.m. Duchesne has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Duchesne is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Mercy on Tuesday. They lost 5-1 to the Monarchs. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Duchesne were already down 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Evelyn Jeffreys, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roncalli Catholic, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against Plattsmouth by a score of 3-1 on Friday. Roncalli Catholic haven't had any issues with Plattsmouth recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Duchesne's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Roncalli Catholic, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Everything went Duchesne's way against Roncalli Catholic when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Duchesne made off with a 4-0 win. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crimson Pride turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
