Soccer Game Preview: Lockhart vs. Steele

The Lockhart Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Steele Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lockhart's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lockhart took on Pflugerville on Friday. The Lions and the Panthers finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. Lockhart's loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Meanwhile, Steele kept a clean sheet against Crockett on Friday. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. Considering Steele have won three matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

With that draw, Lockhart's record moves to 6-1-1. As for Steele, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-1-1.
