            The St. Martinville Tigers will square off against the Highland Baptist Christian Bears at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. St. Martinville will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
St. Martinville is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They came out on top against Comeaux by a score of  15-12  on Friday.
St. Martinville got a  massive  performance out of  Jayton Walker, who  scored four  runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Walker a new career-high in  hits (three).  Branson Chiasson was another key player,  scoring four  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 St. Martinville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Highland Baptist Christian fell victim to Hanson Memorial and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They lost  17-0 to the Tigers. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 St. Martinville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.9 runs over those games. Highland Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
