Soccer Recap: Friday's Defeat Ends Crested Butte's Winning Streak

After flying high against Ridgway on Tuesday, Crested Butte came back down to earth. The Titans fell just short of the Telluride Miners by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Crested Butte were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the four contests prior), but Telluride's defense proved too tough.

The defeat snapped Crested Butte's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 7-2 record. As for Telluride, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.
